"Just back from a long weekend trip to this wonderful city. After combing the websites and the previous reviews on our websites we gave it a try and am pleased we did. We booked through the hotel's own web site and paid 200 euro per night for a double room including breakfast. What a great staff, everyone was helpful, attentive, and made arrangements. Always with a smile. They even adjusted the rate (lower) when my travel partner left a day earlier... this made me smile too! It is tastefully decorated and has a comfortable atmosphere. The location is perfect because you can always drop off all your shopping freshen up and get right back out there for more!! Its half way between the Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo so its easy access to everywhere. I've been to Florence a few times and am always up for trying new places but I think the Hotel Pierre is worthy of a second stay and I would definitely stay here again... My recommendations: * begin your day Italian style and have the staff make you a fresh Cappuccino or Cafe Latte (no charge) and skip the 'American coffee' that is self served at breakfast as it isn't very nice - great hotel I will certainly stay here again..
